The forewings of the adult moth of this species are pale greyish-brown with some dark spots, and a dark area at the base of each forewing. The hindwings are off-white darkening towards the wingtips. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
