These Caterpillars are thought to feed on dead leaves, especially of
The forewings of the adult moth of this species are each speckled grey or brown with a scattering of small darker spots, especially around the margin, and two larger dark marks along the costa, and a dark band around the base. The hindwings are off-white darkening towards the wingtips. The wingspan is about 2 cms.
