These Caterpillars are thought to feed on dead leaves, especially of

  • Gum trees ( Eucalyptus species, MYRTACEAE ).

    The adult moth has brown forewings with yellow splotches. The hindwings are plain brown.

    The species has been found in south-eastern Australia, including:

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
