The adult moth of this species has white legs, and pink and yellow wings, although the pink colours are inclined to fade to brown in museum specimens. The pink areas are outlined in dark brown, and contain a big black dot near the costa of each forewing. The hindwings are plain brown. The labial palps are hairy and held in front of the head. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

The moth is inclined to wrap its wings tightly around its body.

The species has been found in

Queensland.
