The adult moths have yellow forewings, with extensive pink patches along the costas, and narrow pink edges to the margins. The hindwings are off-white darkening to yellow at the wingtips. The wings have pointed wingtips. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in the south-east of Australia, including :

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
