The William Wood and his son William Wood Jnr were prominent London artists of natural history in London in the 19th century. They drew pictures of specimens particularly to illustrate the articles of the entomologist Arthur Gardiner Butler, and the drawings were printed using chromo-lithogrphy by the London printing company George Henry Ford & William West.
