The Caterpillars of this species live in small groups in a shelter made from two leaves of its foodplant joined together with silk and frass. The caterpillars feed on the leaves of various species of
The adult moth of this species has white forewings each with a narrow brown band at the base, and a broad brown marginal band connected to a brown band across the middle. The hindwings are brown. The wingspan is about 1 cm.
