This adult moth has brown forewings with dark indistinct submarginal bands. The hindwings are pale brown. The wingspan is about 2 cms. In its natural posture, the moth is inclined to sit with a crease in each of its forewings.

The species has been found in eastern Australia, including:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • Tasmania.
